| We Regh Art Firm deals with various issues related to art. As bread and butter is produced largely in rural areas but available in variety in cities, in a sense the perfect budding atmosphere for art cocoon is in the rural areas and the survival of their art is in larger cities. We are situated in Ratnagiri, a rural city full of natural beauty and a clean sea shore. |
|||
| We work in two different layers | |||
| > | to provide a healthy atmosphere to artist to work, research, redevelop, interact their ideas and techniques to flourish their art in full blossom. We arrange workshops, symposiums, seminars, lectures, etc related to field of art. We try to ease the burden of basic needs from the artist’s shoulder by giving financial support. | ||
| > | We have adopted a role as mediator between Artists- Work of Art- Art Lovers- Connoisseurs- Buyers-Art Criticizers. We produce a strong platform to represent works of Art online or in Exhibitions. Regh is the work from one of the Indian languages, it means line. From the ancient era the approach and attitude of Indian Art is more poetic, subtle, lyrical thus line oriented. In a way it is drastically contrast with western art which is more dramatic and mass oriented. |
||
| Today contemporary Indian art, in global art scenario, is in a mixed approach and technically it is sharing western part of the globe. Still in some hidden quarters of every Indian mind that lyrical approach is mystically alive. Cause even living and using this materialistic world to live, Indian metaphysical way of seeing life has not yet at all scratched out and off course it naturally reflects in Indian art. | |||
| At a glance by just overlooking any work of art one can merely find a difference but penetrating thoroughly sure allows one to find a pure Indian soul in Indian art. | |||
| Again the life in India has divided in two parts; one lived with cosmopolitan global impact in big cities… enjoyed with mall and consumer culture; another larger part is living in rural sectors adjoined with small cities. Another part is also connected with globe via internet, television, newspapers and cell phones. This second part is more Indian than the first one, calling it as cultural zones of India shall not be exaggeration. | |||
| We don’t show works of art in a gross method, but we choose artists very carefully and keep a good rapport with them, because our motto is simply finding a right match for art lover of a genuine work of art in a profound , appropriate price. We also take interest in providing an opportunity to a spectator to explore his taste of art, and a juxtaposed opportunity to artist to understand a spectator’s viewpoint as a legitimate chance to enhance its art ability. | |||
